No, I am not dead.

It has taken, err...some time for me to have internet access so sorry for the delay. Before we just called the cable company and they did it soon, here you have to buy a freakin modem and THEN call the guy. And finding a cheap modem is hard.

I recently moved to Arizona, so far things have been...well ok.

The weather is very hot with huge storms now and then, but this place is also full of bugs. This is the first time I've had to deal with cockroaches and mosquitos comming indoors. The flies are also pretty agressive, and then there are these jewel beetles(fig beetles I think) that like to follow you when you come near a flying one. The first few weeks there was a chorus of cicada callings but they are gone now.

However I'm pretty upset that the tuition rate for community college is higher, where I used to live in the Los Angeles area; it was $20 per unit, here in Tucson it's a fucking $50 a unit. That's what happens when a state has a lot of taxaphobes I guess. There are also many ermm... imaginary rivers and ponds that show up in street names and probably only happen during flash floods, like a supposed river around here that is mostly dry the whole year. But thankfully, unlike the suburbs that surround Pheonix, there are less fat people here. The people here are generally nicer than in LA, for obvious reasons that it's not LA. There is more patches of country here, and even some dirt roads.

But what have I been doing all this time without the internet?

Well almost nothing to be honest. Right now my family has been having a lot to worry about. And when I see them in trouble, it really makes me mad because I get reminded of the words of conservative assholes who are blind to the woes of people like us, or worse think we deserve it. Yes, especially those on Subeta, and speaking of Subeta, Subeta is better than Neopets the same way that a kid with an IQ of 70 is smarter than a kid with an IQ of 40.

I have been drawing on my sketchbook but lately haven't had much...well drive to do so, it does not mean I lack inspiration it's something else...

And well I've been doing a lot of exploring here in Tucson including intresting places such as the huge library in the downtown, to Oro valley, to various malls, and places where I might want to work(yeah, like hippie marts).

Another thing is this, and to those of you who know my tastes this is going to seem very weird. But we were able to put up the computers weeks ago, though with no internet access there was errm...old Snes and Nes games on it. And at first the only games on my brother's computer where... yes...Megaman games, Megaman 1-4 for NES, and Megaman 7, X2, and X3. Then my brother who hogs the laptop and has his own car and thus has had internet access this whole time, managed to get Super Metroid. Only later when my computer was assembled, did I get access to my snes games which come from an RPG pack full of RPG games I have never heard of and many I have heard of, and many of which I have never heard of and it was probably best I did not hear them(like AD&D: Eye of the Beholder, and CyberKnight, and Drakkhen). I did play a bit of Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, and managed to complete a game of Harvest Moon(which is is anti-feminist, but what do you expect from a traditional farming town?). I did try to play the Megaman games but they are fucking hard, but my brother managed to beat most of them(he has much more video game experience than me). But yeah I've been having a lot of exposure to Megaman lately, and it's growing on me a bit to see this little robot care about his robot friends and then blast, electricute, freeze and crush, explode, and a number of other ways ways to brutally maim a robot. And Zero...well I can imagine him combing his hair in front of a mirror, especially the way he runs and jumps it's like he's saying "look at my bishieness you fangirls must be swooning already! I'm so cool and sexy I have my own theme". Now I am hungry for some Megaman Yaoi. And I'm not even into Yaoi really.

Ok maybe I won't look
Maybe I will
Maybe I won't
Maybe I will

Oh well, this seems only temporary hopefully, I'll be back into Sherlock and Oscar and vampires and Chinese dragons soon enough.

(When I saw Zero for the first time, I was like what? 8? and thought he was a fembot because of his swooshing long hair. Maybe he is, because his chestplate looks like a pair of boobs, and that in X2 Megaman has to rescue him...by recovering his...parts)

But it also inspired me to create a robot character, but he looks like an alien from the movie Alien, but with the head that looks like a cross between a human skull and a staple remover and an 80's hair bomb style wig. He's also a hedonist(because I also have been reading "he Picture of Dorian Gray) and sees the human world from an outsiders perspective(like me).

And about Super Metroid...I wonder how many guys died several times in the game for no reason other than to see Samus's armor come off. Is the Metroid Prime series just a shooter or does it still have many of the neat exploring elements of Super Metroid?

I feel different somehow, from when I last talked to any of you guys, for example I have been working more on my sarcasm to be more vicious. I also am feeling much much more cynical.

Oh and this apartment allows pets, but for a $300 fee. That has not stopped lots of people from keeping or getting their pets. The neighbors have two cats, one of which sometimes wants to come into our home, and maybe she or the other cat has already left a dead lizard and a half-eaten bird right outside on the decorative rocks. Cats only look like cute little furry babies, they aren't that, and people need to recognize that they are little vicious monsters and everytime they play they are practicing torturing little animals to death, and the only reason they stay with humans is because it's convienient, not because they need to. But that's what I love and respect about them.

One more thing: I would like to one day place a prank ad in the newspaper that goes like this: Rich girl with porsche and high paying job, looking for beautiful young man.

Living pretty lives,
Spending their pretty money,
To feed their petty pride.
